Quick sweep at the Canary

Former President Bill Clinton poses for a photo Tuesday with employees at the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara, where he was giving a midday speech. Former President Bill Clinton was headed to Southern California Tuesday afternoon, after a quick visit to the Central Coast.
The visit was mostly a trip to raise money for his wife's presidential campaign. He made a stop at Santa Barbara's Canary Hotel earlier in the day, and from there went to a private event hosted at Hope Ranch, according to Laura Capps, daughter of Congresswoman Lois Capps (D-Santa Barbara).
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders are both working to get the lion's share of California's large contingent of Democratic Party convention delegates.
Sanders was in San Diego Tuesday evening, preparing for a rally scheduled at the city's convention center.

The Beatles took America by storm, as Race Riots gripped big cities -- and the the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was signed into law. Boxer Cassius Clay became Muhammad Ali and the heavyweight champion of the world....
